Chuck and Amanda own and operate a 30 stall boarding barn. In addition, they both work corporate roles - Chuck works in IT and Amanda is an Instructional Designer. They have owned horses for over 25 years. They have bred and shown Tennessee Walking Horses and Gypsy Vanners. As barn owners, they have seen and treated many medical issues and equine skin conditions such as sweet itch and mallendars & sallendars, and are always looking for products that are effective at restoring equine health.
Amanda has always loved horses and learning. She has shown dressage and western dressage, and has dabbled in cow sorting and working equitation. She also trails rides, and has worked for an equine vet. In addition to running the farm and her corporate job, she also gives lessons focusing on dressage and biomechanics. She has a certification in bit fitting and is working on her saddle fitting certification. She believes in continuing her own education so she can bring balanced equine health to her clients and students.
Chuck did not grow up with horses, but is the barn expert at giving medications to difficult horses, wrapping legs, fixing all the things horses break, and he loves working with the foals. In his 20+ years, he has become well versed in all things equine health. His own mare battled with a mild case of sweet itch, resulting in us looking for an effective cure.
